MR. JOHN EDEDET UDO

MR. JOHN EDEDET UDO, FIPOM, FIIA, MNIM (Registrar)

Mr. John E. Udo is a seasoned University administrator. He started his career in the University system as an Administrative Assistant and rose to become the Registrar of the University of Uyo. On completion of tenure as Registrar, University of Uyo, he proceeded on a one year sabbatical leave to Federal University Lafia. With a wealth of experience highly sought for, he was appointed Registrar, Evangel University, Akaeze, Ebonyi State where served until his appointment with Akwa Ibom State University on July 4th, 2016.

Mr. John Udo is from Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State. He obtained a Bachelor of Education (Science) in Physics from the University of Benin, and a Master of Arts (Education) in Education Planning from University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife).

This seasoned administrator is a member of many professional bodies among which are: Forum of Academic Planners of Nigerian Universities (FAPNU), Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (IPMN), and Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) where he was the National President (2002-2006).

Mr. Udo has been a resource person at many conferences and seminars as well as a participant. He is married with children. He is the Registrar of Akwa Ibom State University with effect from 4th July, 2016.
