Dr. INI-IBEHE NABUK ETIM, Ph.D 
(Ag. Head, Department of Marine Biology)

Dr. Ini-Ibehe Nabuk Etim is, at present, the Ag. Head of Marine Biology Department, Akwa Ibom State University, Nigeria. He is also a Facilitator at Africa Centre of Excellence for Future Energies and Electrochemical Systems (ACE|FUELS), Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO), Nigeria, a Grant from World Bank. He obtained his Ph.D degree in Materials Science and Engineering (with specialty in Marine Corrosion and Protection) in the Institute of Metal Research, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China. He obtained his M.Sc degree in Physical Chemistry in 2015; and B.Sc degree in Marine Chemistry in 2010 from the Department of Pure and Applied Chemistry, University of Calabar, Nigeria. He obtained his O’level certificate in 2003 from Nigerian Christian Institute, Uyo. On his meritorious completion of Ph.D studies, he was awarded a Chinese Postdoctoral Research fellowship at the Northeastern University, China. He is also an awardee of both the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) and the Institute of Metal Research Scholarship. 
 
He has over 20 scientific publications in International peer-reviewed journals in Marine Chemistry, Electrochemistry and Corrosion protection of Materials. He has attended and presented in a number of International and Local conferences.
